This event follows Barbie's extraordinary achievements. After clinching the Golden Globe Awards for Box Office Achievement, the critically acclaimed film bagged 8 Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture. Its soundtrack scooped 11 Grammy nominations, with the powerful theme song 'What Was I Made For?', winning Song of the Year and Best Song Written for Visual Media. Since its July 2023 premiere, Barbie has become a global sensation, raking in over $1.4 billion and setting a new record for the highest-grossing debut by a female director, Greta Gerwig.
The Hollywood Bowl will also unveil special limited edition merchandise and concert photos on their official website, with tickets set to go on sale from May 7, 2024.
This Barbie concert will be part of the thrilling lineup for the Hollywood Bowl's summer 2024 season.
