The story unfolds as Peter, a witty assassin, is summoned to a quaint mountain town to track down a seemingly glamorous real estate agent, portrayed by Jet Jandreau, who harbors a mysterious secret. Urged by his powerful and enigmatic boss, Mr. Lock, played by Jake Weber, Peter focuses on Brenda, played by Rebecca de Mornay, seeking information. The trailer quickly escalates into a frenzy of gunfire, car chases, explosions, and disrupted tranquility in the sleepy town, all under the direction of Michael Zaiko Hall.
Invincible Entertainment plans to release the indie thriller in theaters initially, followed by availability on home entertainment and video-on-demand platforms. This project represents Spacey's attempt to revive his acting career, notably six years after facing numerous allegations of sexual misconduct. His legal fortunes shifted when he was found not guilty in a UK court sexual assault trial in July 2023.
Kevin Spacey is making strides to re-enter the public sphere, including booking his first appearance at a comic book convention scheduled for Feb. 16 to 18 at Mad Monster in Concord, North Carolina.
This comeback follows a significant career collapse, considering Spacey's past successes, including Oscar wins for "The Usual Suspects" (1995) and "American Beauty" (1999).
