Austrian promoter Klaus Leutgeb has talked about teaming up to promote Adele’s residency in Munich, Germany. The news came out last Wednesday, with four initial dates set for August. However, due to high demand, four more days were added.
"I've been talking with Adele's team for two years. I had this vision pushing me forward," Leutgeb shared with Krone. "I wanted to create something truly unique, something that screams Adele in every way."
The summer concerts will happen in a specially designed stadium at the Munich Messe convention center. The venue will feature both grandstand seating and standing areas, providing a unique concert experience.
"It's not just about the size of the stadium," Leutgeb explained. "It's about the content, about bringing my dreams to life. That's what truly makes me happy and keeps me going."
Leutgeb, known for organizing shows with artists like Andreas Gabalier, Helene Fischer, and Robbie Williams in 2022, will be partnering with Marek Lieberberg of Live Nation GSA for these shows.
These exclusive European dates mark Adele's return to mainland Europe since 2016. When the news broke, Adele expressed her excitement, saying, "I couldn't resist this idea—a one-of-a-kind stadium in the heart of Europe? In Munich? That's unexpected but fantastic!"
Adele's ongoing Weekends with Adele run at The Colosseum in Caesars Palace is set to end in June this year. The first batch of 24 dates already grossed an impressive US$52.8 million (€48.8m).
The 35-year-old singer is represented by Lucy Dickins and Kirk Sommer at WME. The partnership promises to bring an unforgettable experience to Adele's fans in Munich.
